Our passion for
the game of basketball
Our History
From Sporthal De Vallei to Valley Vultures – over 50 years of basketball in Veenendaal.
NEW NAME, NEW ENERGY, SAME AMBITION
The Beginning
With the opening of Sporthal De Vallei, swimming instructors started the first basketball attempts. In October 1971, the Heij family officially founded VBV – with eight parents and a handful of players, the adventure began.

Growth & Club Identity
VBV grew into a real association. Families like Dijkhuizen, De Wit and Baas became the heart of the club. With Scheepjeswol as sponsor, serious competition was played.
